In Bolognano, on the hills near Pescara, every year Zaccagnini produces wonderful wines that are popular worldwide, winning many highly prestigious international wine awards.
Our excellence, the passion and dedication with which we perform our work, our close bond with the earth and our love of art have made our “Tralcetto” wines the pride and joy of the wine-making industry in Abruzzo on an international scale. Today the company produces approximately more than 6 million bottles every year and exports over 85% of its production to 45 countries in 5 continents. And yet, when talking about Cantina Zaccagnini wine is only half the story. Established in 1978, the company immediately gained a name for itself as a place where wine meets and bonds with art.
Indeed, “Wine, art of man” has been the slogan for the company philosophy since 1984, when internationally renowned artist Joseph Beuys presented his “Defending Nature” project in the barrel store. From then on, the rooms and outdoor spaces of Cantina became the venue of a permanent exhibition, with sculptures and works by artists of global prestige.
