Ricasoli – a name that has been synonymous with wine since 1141 – is the fourth oldest family – run wine estate in the world. The Ricasoli family tree, reproduced on print in 1584, is also one of the first references that we have regarding the Chianti area.
After centuries of defending the land and the feudal lords, the Ricasoli’s were the first to dedicate themselves to the development of agriculture and of the vineyards. “I would like to make wines that embody a place.
