Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz 2019, Awarded Master award at the 2021 Global Syrah Masters

Congratulations to Tyrrell Wines who have just been awarded the Master medal at the 2021 Global Syrah Masters in London for their Rufus Stone Heathcote Shiraz 2019.

All Masters Competitions - whether regional or global - are judged blind, the panels comprise solely of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior buyers. Each tasting identifies the best examples of its grape variety, from all around the world and from every price bracket, meaning an Australian Shiraz wine can be tasted alongside a French Syrah without prejudice or bias. First held in 2013 it has become the biggest awards programme by the drinks business, the world's leading magazine for the wine and spirits trade. Only the best competing wines are awarded medals, ranging from Bronze through to Gold and, for exceptional example, the title of Master.
