Newly in and added to our 2022 portfolio are two wines from Tour de Montrabech, Languedoc, France! The white Tour de Montrabech Roussanne Vermentino and the red Tour de Montrabech Syrah Carignan Grenache!
The Tour de Montrabech, on a promontory next to the Aude river, was originally built as a castle in the 11th century. The in the 15th century it was converted to a surveillance tower and used as a strategic point to transmit messages from one fortress to another. The Tour de Montrabech is surrounded by a rich terroir of olive trees and vineyards that produces unique Mediterranean wines.
Tour de Montrabech Roussanne Vermentino
Golden color. Its nose is very open and develops on notes of bigarade. The mouth without detour leaves the freshness of the soil with a spicy point. The harmonious end of mouth keeps a beautiful length.
Tour de Montrabech Syrah Carignan Grenache
A purply red with bluish reflections, this wine has a very expressive and fruity first nose. Rich in tannins, it remains delicate despite its youth.
