Alpha Estate

Alpha Estate, situated in the cool highlands of Amyndeon in northwestern Greece, is a beacon of modern winemaking and innovation. Established in the early 1990s by visionary second-generation vine grower Makis Mavridis and Bordeaux-trained winemaker Angelos Iatrides, the estate is celebrated for producing world-class wines that marry tradition with cutting-edge techniques. Angelos, one of Europe’s most talented winemakers, leads the estate's pursuit of excellence.

Spanning 220 hectares of privately owned, single-block vineyards, Alpha Estate employs sustainable farming practices to nurture both French and indigenous Greek grape varietals. The estate’s cool climate, high altitude, and unique terroir allow for the creation of wines that are elegant, balanced, and reflective of their origin.
