The vineyards are situated in the small town of Mogege, the in the sub-region of Vale do Ave, the heart of the Vinho Verde region. The mission is clear: to reveal the best of the terroir of the Vinho Verde region through the production of wine based on traditional varieties. Casal de Ventozela is a family business in the business of producing Vinho Verde, located in the sub-region of the Vale do Ave. Their production is spread over 25 hectares of vines, and part of them were renovated in the last 4 years. They grow Loureiro, Arinto and Treixadura as their main varieties, but also some Alvarinho, Espadeiro and Vinhão. Ventozela are one of the leading proponents of single-variety Vinho Verde.
