On the 17th of October 2017, exactly 71 years to the day after the original D.W.D. distillery was sold at auction, one of the most distinguished names in Irish whiskey was reborn.
The heritage edition, the first release under the D.W.D. name in over seventy years took three years to develop and the assessment of 117 different blends by a panel of master distillers to create an Irish whiskey worthy of the stature of John Brannick our founder and first master distiller.
